Personality:
Personality:
Curious - She has kept her childish curiosity towards life, and is
always glad to learn something new. She believes knowledge is the key to be
wise. That's also why she is so patient with children, because there is no
better way to learn than to make mistakes.
Envious - Though it is way better than when she was younger, Bell is
still envious of the younger does that can have children of their own. It
infuriates her to see how many of them do not realize how lucky they are, and
how they take it for granted.
Blunt - She never was one to hide behind fancy words to express what is
on her mind. If she as something to tell, she says it.
Honest - She never lies, because she believes it would lead her nowhere.
The only person with who she isn't always honest is herself.
Talkative - Bell always talk: to children, telling them story, with
fellow elders about their youth, speaking wise words to younger adults or even
to herself when she's alone.
Likes:
Kids - Despise not being able
to have her own, Belladone loves kids. She likes their natural curiosity and
their energy, and taking care of them gives her a purpose in life.
Stories - She's a rather good storyteller, and she loves telling tales
to the young ones, at their great joy.
Stars - She likes to lose herself looking at the stars. They are so far,
so mysterious, and she sometimes wonders how it is up there. It makes her feel
small, and somehow makes her worries and problems look insignificant.
Tesla - Her adoptive daughter is her world. She saved her of what could
have been quite a bitter life, and gave her a new purpose in life.
Dislikes:
Siv - Even though she is relatively at peace with
the fact that she can't have kids, she resents not being able to take part of
it.
Fighting - She doesn't like violence in general, and believes in the
power of words more than those of the power of the body.
Lies - She despised liars and schemes, and doesn't grasp the usefulness
of hiding the truth. To her, being honest will always be the best path to her
goals, and if it doesn't work, it probably wasn't meant to be.
Silence - Belladone is used to the laughter of children and the
agitation of a big herd. She doesn't feel comfortable when all is silent, it
makes her feel likes something is amiss.

Backstory:
You want to hear my story? There's nothing
exceptional about it, really. You're sure? Oh well, then, if you insist.
At first, I wasn't different from any doe my age: bubbly, curious, full of
energy. Nothing worth telling happened until my first Siv. I was very excited
about having my very own kid. I was outrageously flirtous, if I believe my
mother's words. It was not long before a strong looking ram came to me, and ask
me to be a part of his harem. Everything went fine until I realized I wasn't
feeling or looking like any other pregnant doe and my doubts were confirmed
when birthing season came. No kid was born from my womb that year, and I was
furious. Surely the ram must have been the problem, but all the other ewe from
his harem had healthy kids. That's when the whispers began. The whispers. How I
hated them, and the way all those mothers looked at me, full of pity. I
shrugged it off that time, and told myself than the next year, I would have a
child of my own. Then came the next Siv, and that time again I found a partner.
Yet, again, no signs of pregnancy. I was at loss, I didn't understand, and when
birthing season came, truth crushed me. I was sterile, that was the only explanation.
After that Siv, I wasn't the same. I became angry when around mothers and their
kids, and soon my herdmates isolated me. When I think about it now, I regret
how I acted back then.
Two years passed, when my salvation came. Approximately two months after
birthing season, a terrible accident happened. A young mother, left to herself
by a ram who had taken too many does into his harem, had went into the woods
looking for food and never came back. Rumors went that she was attacked by
wolves. It was terrible news, as she left behind her a young doe. I don't
recall how, but I found myself searching for the little one, and when I saw her
big eyes, filled with fear, something in me awaken. Or rather, my true self
finally broke that shell made of hate. She was called Tesla, and from that day
I decided to take her under my wing. I was lucky, as she didn't need her
mother's milk anymore. I was surprised at how natural my maternal instincts
kicked in, and even more surprised to see that my herdmates didn't interfere in
my decision. I'm proud to say she grew into a fine lady.
After meeting Tesla, everything changed. I took upon me to help mothers in need
every year. I wouldn't let any story like Tesla's to repeat itself. I would
help them gather some food for themselves, and even watch on the younglings
when they needed to rest. I found myself a passion in taking care of the future
of the herd, and that's how I've lived my left from them until now.
That's sums my little story. Not satisfied? *chuckles* You'll have to be
patient, young one, as the next story will have to wait for tomorrow!
